About Sahil Chugh

SAHIL is a Canadian, producer, songwriter, artist and session musician. He works in many genres, and is not limited in the sounds that inspire him. Over the last 10 years he has performed at major festivals across the country, and on chart topping albums. He has also composed scores for film and theatre. A pianist by trade originally, Sahil's debut modern jazz album, Don't be Sad was released in 2024. Drawing from a wide array of inspiration from all of the artists he has collaborated with, Sahil's original music highlights his affinity for personal storytelling, intricate rhythms, and transcendental melodies.Some notable performances as an artist or member of a band include:
The Winnipeg, Calgary & Canmore Folk Festivals, Sled Island, The Road to the Junos, Juno Fest, Edmonton & Calgary International Jazz Festivals, Dauphin Country Fest, Down by the River, Block Heater, amongst others. Sahil has had the opportunity to open for bands like the Dead South & Cheap trick as well as work with artists like J-Scope, K-Riz, Lucette, Jacquie Pierce, Tomi Lumiere, and D'orjay, to name a few.
